The Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch Professional 310.32.42.50.01.001 debuted in 2021 as part of the renewed Moonwatch Professional generation featuring the manually wound Calibre 3861, continuing the lineage of the Speedmaster as a historically significant space-qualified chronograph. The watch features a 42 mm stainless steel asymmetrical case with a lug-to-lug measurement of 47.50 mm and a thickness of approximately 13.18 mm. Water resistance is rated to 5 bar. A black anodised aluminium bezel with tachymeter scale surrounds the dial and retains the traditional dot over 90 marking. The front is fitted with a hesalite crystal, while the caseback is executed in solid stainless steel, consistent with classic Moonwatch construction. The black step dial follows the fourth-generation Speedmaster layout and features printed hour markers, printed Omega logo, and white chronograph scales. Moonwatch-style hands are used throughout. The chronograph display comprises a small seconds sub-dial, a 30-minute recorder, and a 12-hour recorder arranged in a tri-compax configuration. Powering the watch is the manual-winding Omega Calibre 3861, a Co-Axial Master Chronometer certified by METAS. Operating at a frequency of 3 Hz, the movement offers a power reserve of approximately 50 hours and resistance to magnetic fields up to 15,000 gauss. The calibre incorporates a free-sprung balance with a silicon balance spring and is finished with rhodium-plated components. The Speedmaster Moonwatch Professional 310.32.42.50.01.001 is delivered on a black coated nylon fabric strap secured with a stainless steel foldover clasp.
