Speedmaster Moonwatch Co-Axial Master Chronometer Dark Side of the Moon

The Omega Speedmaster Dark Side of the Moon 310.92.44.51.01.001 debuted in 2025. This model has a 44.25 mm case in polished and brushed black ceramic, measuring 13.02 mm in thickness and 50.0 mm lug-to-lug. The polished black ceramic bezel features a tachymeter scale in Liquidmetal. Water resistance is rated at 50 meters. The black ceramic dial is laser-sandblasted and displays small seconds at 9 o’clock, with a combined 60-minute and 12-hour chronograph recorder at 3 o’clock. The hour and minute hands, along with bevelled indexes, are blackened and filled with black Super-LumiNova that emits green in low light. The central chronograph seconds hand is finished in red varnish. Both front and back feature sapphire crystal. This reference is powered by the hand-wound calibre 9908 “Black Edition,” a Co-Axial Master Chronometer chronograph with column wheel, certified by METAS and resistant to magnetic fields up to 15,000 gauss. The movement has a matte blackened finish with Geneva waves in arabesque, silicon balance spring, dual barrels mounted in series, and a time-zone function. It beats at 4 Hz and offers a 60-hour power reserve. The 310.92.44.51.01.001 is worn on a black rubber strap with a lunar surface motif on the underside, secured by a ceramic foldover clasp with ceramised titanium frame-spring construction.
