The Longines PrimaLuna Moonphase L8.126.4.97.6 debuted in 2025 as part of the PrimaLuna collection, combining the model’s characteristic rounded silhouette with a moon phase indication. The watch features a 34.00 mm stainless-steel case, 11.60 mm in thickness, and 41.00 mm from lug to lug. It is fitted with a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with multi-layer anti-reflective coating on both sides, and a sapphire-crystal case back revealing the automatic movement. Water resistance is rated to 3 bar (30 meters). The blue mother-of-pearl dial is set with diamond hour markers and features a moon phase aperture at 6 o’clock with an integrated date pointer. Rhodium-plated leaf-shaped hands complement the polished steel case and bracelet. Powering the watch is the Longines caliber L899, an automatic mechanical movement beating at 25,200 vibrations per hour (3.5 Hz) with a power reserve of approximately 72 hours. Based on the ETA A31.L91 architecture, it provides indications for hours, minutes, central seconds, pointer date, and moon phase. The watch is fitted with a stainless-steel bracelet equipped with a triple-folding safety clasp with push-piece opening mechanism. Total weight is approximately 110 grams.
