Heritage Legend Diver 39 Stainless Steel / Green / Rubber

The Longines Legend Diver L3.764.4.06.9 is part of the modern Legend Diver line, a collection derived from a historic diving watch introduced by Longines in 1959. The design retains the characteristic internal rotating diving flange operated by a second crown, a configuration associated with Super-Compressor style divers of the period. The stainless steel case is fitted with a screw-in crown and a secondary crown used to operate the internal bezel. This rotating flange allows elapsed dive time to be set while remaining protected beneath the crystal. The watch is water-resistant to 300 metres and fitted with a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on both sides. The dial is finished in polished green lacquer and features painted Arabic numerals and indexes. Silver-coloured polished hands indicate the hours, minutes and seconds. The internal rotating flange carries the diving scale and is adjusted using the crown positioned at 2 o’clock. Powering the watch is the automatic calibre L888, a self-winding mechanical movement operating at 25,200 vibrations per hour and offering a power reserve of approximately 72 hours. The movement is equipped with a monocrystalline silicon balance spring, contributing to magnetic resistance and long-term stability. This configuration of the Legend Diver L3.764.4.06.9 pairs the green dial with a matching green rubber strap secured by a pin buckle.
