Jaeger-LeCoultre caliber 834
Ref. 834
Calibre 834 is a manual-winding movement developed by Jaeger-LeCoultre exclusively for the Reverso Tribute Geographic. Fully integrated and manufactured entirely in-house, this calibre addresses the challenges posed by the rectangular Reverso case, particularly with traditionally round complications. It features an integrated world time complication with a static city name display and a rotating 24-hour ring, adjusted in hourly increments via a hidden pusher between the top lugs. The calibre also includes Jaeger-LeCoultre's patented Grande Date complication (patent CH715152), using two side-by-side discs—units (1–9) and tens (10s, 20s, 30s)—for a compact, harmonious visual layout within the limited space of the rectangular case.
