The Breitling Top Time B01 Chronograph 41 Tribute to Aston Martin DB5 PB0178121B1X1 was introduced in 2026 in a limited edition of 315 pieces. It forms part of Breitling’s Aston Martin DB5 tribute series, which combines the modern Top Time B01 Chronograph 41 with details referencing both the DB5 and the Breitling Top Time reference 2002 seen in Thunderball. This version uses a stainless steel case, a platinum bezel, and a black lacquered dial. The 41 mm case measures 13.80 mm thick and 47.90 mm lug-to-lug. Its cushion-shaped profile, grooved corners, and mushroom-style pushers refer to Breitling chronographs from the 1960s, while the fixed platinum bezel distinguishes this reference from the stainless steel model. The watch has a cambered sapphire crystal glare-proofed on both sides, a screwed sapphire crystal case back, and a non-screw-locked crown with two gaskets. Water resistance is rated to 10 bar, or 100 meters. The sunray-brushed black lacquered dial has black chronograph subdials with concentric textured finishing and thin polished rhodium-coated rings. A wooden rehaut ring provides the most direct Aston Martin DB5 interior reference, while the rounded-square subdials recall the form of classic car dashboard instruments. The display consists of central hours and minutes, running seconds, central chronograph seconds, and a 30-minute chronograph counter. Super-LumiNova is used on the hands and external minute track. The Breitling Manufacture Caliber 01 is visible through the sapphire crystal case back. This COSC-certified automatic chronograph movement has a column wheel, vertical clutch, bidirectional winding with ball bearing, and an approximate power reserve of 70 hours. It measures 30 mm in diameter and 7.2 mm thick, uses 284 components, and runs at 28,800 vibrations per hour. This steel and platinum version is fitted with an 18-carat gold Aston Martin-engraved rotor. The watch is paired with a brown calfskin leather strap with beige lining and a folding clasp.
