A concrete example of these twin priorities is the Colt range, a line of products renowned for their precision and their sturdiness. Among them, the chronograph version is doubtless the most elaborate. In addition to an extremely high level of finish, the case is designed to provide optimal shock-resistance, as underscored by the lateral crown reinforcements and the protective pushpiece rings. Its water resistance is guaranteed to 660 feet (200 meters), equivalent to a pressure of 20 bars. The Chrono Colt also enables measurement of short times to within the nearest 1/10th of a second with split times, as well as fast timezone changes without disturbing the running of the minute and seconds hands.
